Hi, I’m Brittney Brown StPierre, the founder of Ametta Travel — a boutique cruise and travel agency based in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

In February 2025, my life changed when I had a stroke at 34 years old.
It was a moment that forced me to slow down, breathe, and rediscover what truly matters — faith, peace, and connection.

During recovery, my husband and I took our first cruise together. Somewhere between the sunrise over the sea and the sound of the waves, I felt peace again. That trip reminded me that travel can heal the mind, restore the soul, and remind us of the beauty in creation.

That’s when Ametta Travel was born — from a place of renewal, gratitude, and purpose.

The Meaning of “Ametta”

The name Ametta comes from an Old English word meaning leisure, rest, and peace.
To me, it represents the kind of travel that restores your energy instead of draining it — travel that lets you breathe deeply, reconnect, and truly live in the moment.
